1-Day Pass
Ride anywhere on buses, MAX & Streetcar
A 1-Day Pass (or "All-Day Ticket") gives you the freedom to travel anywhere around the Portland area on buses, MAX and the Portland Streetcar—all day long. The pass is valid for travel in all three fare zones.
How to use it
On the bus: When you board, tell the operator you want a 1-Day Pass or, if you already have one, place it in the farebox. The operator will give you a transfer receipt valid for the rest of the service day. Keep the transfer as proof of payment.
On MAX: First, stamp your pass in one of the validators at the MAX station. The pass is then valid for the rest of the service day. (1-Day Passes purchased at ticket machines come pre-validated at the time of purchase.) Board MAX and make sure you keep your pass with you in case a fare inspector asks to see proof of payment.
On the Portland Streetcar: Board the Streetcar and stamp your pass in the validator on board (if your pass is not already validated). Keep your pass with you in case a fare inspector asks to see proof of payment.
